The team behind video marketing company, Grassmarket Media, are a talented bunch with a unique blend of skills.
Adam Milnes is the main filmmaker and editor and has worked in television production since 2003. He’s worked at Sky TV for the past eight years as a camera operator, editor, producer and director. He is a key member of Sky’s live coverage team for All Blacks games and Super Rugby and Mitre 10 Cup competitions.
With his in-demand skills in live sports broadcasting, Adam recently returned from Rio where he worked at the 2016 Olympics. He has also previously worked on the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the 2015 and 2011 Rugby World Cups.
Phillipa George is his creative partner and shoot organiser in the video marketing business. ‘Pip’ comes from a marketing background dealing in consumer goods and has extensive experience in getting products onto the shelves.
She worked closely with the major pharmaceuticals and supermarket chains and helped launch products from scratch – starting with researching and choosing the right packaging.
The couple recently moved to Hawke’s Bay after several successful years together in Auckland. Together, they have pooled their talents to establish Grassmarket Media and to create affordable, high-quality and creative video content for businesses.
Clinton Llewellyn is a tertiary-qualified journalist who has worked in newspapers in Hawke’s Bay for eight years. After making the move to the digital realm, he has joined the team to provide PR, social media and editorial services.
As content editor at a local news website, he increased web traffic by 50% to 150,000 unique visits a week. The site’s Facebook page also enjoyed a period of sustained growth during his tenure, with follower numbers increasing by 2000 per cent over nine months.
